Bring the recurring work together
A limited company may need several connected services, but it should be clear who does what. We discuss bookkeeping, annual accounts, company tax, VAT and payroll as distinct parts of an agreed engagement. Start with the company’s current reporting position, the software in use and any unfinished work.
Make directors’ decisions easier
Good reporting should support decisions about cash, costs and growth. If you need more than year-end preparation, we can discuss regular management accounts and a cash forecast. The frequency and detail should fit the business rather than create reports no one uses.
Prepare for the first conversation
Have the company name, year-end date, existing accountant’s scope and a list of outstanding items ready. You do not need to upload financial records in the enquiry form. We agree the information and secure sharing arrangements after the scope is understood.
